I'm 61 yrs young and I always wanted a pair of over the knee boots. So I decided that this year to buy a pair. My search was difficult because (1) I'm tall (5'9")--most boots were really too short for an OTK style. This was a true OTK boot. (2)I'm plus size (2X)--my calf needs a little more room than allowed in most boots. Part of the back of the boot has `stretch leather', so it breathes with your body--making the fit perfect. The stretch leather create a firm fit that holds your boot up; slipping it from down your leg. (3) And finally, I just had 2 knee replacement surgeries....so I need a very low heel; I cannot wear any high heels. This heel is low and wide enough to provide stability.

I originally ordered size 11 but the fit in the foot of the boot was too tight for my comfort because I like to wear heavy socks with my boots. Size 11 would only allow a thin trouser sock. So I returned them for a size 12....PERFECT !!!! You will love it ...hope they stock more so you can enjoy a pair also !!!
