I was extremely disappointed with these boots. I had a pair of Aussie Dogs before and they were great. I guess this was a different style than the others because they just did not hold up. The bottoms are already wore out and I've only had them for about 4 months. When I say wore out I mean the bottoms of them have just worn away. There is no support. When my foot conformed to the sole of the boot it made my foot slip to the side. Once conformed there is no way to correct. This has not happened on any other shoes I have, nor the other aussie dog pair of boots. Just a really crappy pair of boots. Save your money!!! Don't buy it. I truly regret it.

I received these boots a couple of days ago and was very disappointed with them. First, I didn't like the gigantic box they came in. I know the actual shoe box was large but, that box was way too large for the shoe box (especially because there was nothing to keep the shoes from being knocked around during transit. Second, I didn't like the fact that the straps were not connected to the boots. The straps are individual and they come out on both sides which wouldn't be a problem but, they stick out to the sides and it will probably take some doing to lay them flat. Finally, the biggest problem I have with these boots is how small they are! I'm not talking about the size, I had a hard time zipping them up because my calves are really muscular. Of all the problems I thought I could have, I never expected my calves would be too large for them. I even thought there would be more of a possibility for them being too small for my feet even with ordering a size larger than I normally wear.

These are beautiful boots and I love the fit. The hidden platform makes the heel height easier to wear, I wouldn't wear them shopping but they really are pretty comfortable.(BTW they are not 5" heels they are 4"). The first time I wore them I got tons of compliments. If there is anything to criticize it would be the they are not navy blue, they are a cross between royal and navy blue more towards the royal blue end. But regardless they are beautiful. I almost got them in brown but am really glad I opted for the blue.

International Concepts Women's Posh Boot (11, Black) Review

I bought these boots in brown color. They look very elegant on. I get many complements on them. The leather part is only the upper part from the outside, the inside of the boots is lined with synthetic polyester like fabric, which has limited breathing ability. The outer soles are also man made, and very cheaply - unevenly cut with bumps in them. Luckily they face bottom of the ground so they don't get much attention. The boots are made in China. The materials, the craftsmanship quality don't match the price. In my mind these boots should not cost more than $40-$45. I find that they are tremendously overpriced. The boots are quite high, and can be worn only for 2-3 hours if I plan to do a lot of standing and walking. The toe part which is almond shape is fairly comfortable, and it doesn't squeeze my toes. I'd advice to go half size bigger as I did, because the instep part is very steep, and your toes will slide forward.

MERRELL Natalya Waterproof Ladies Hiking Boots, Brown, US8.5 Review

I am in Australia, here I am a size 8. my foot measures 24.5 cm or 9.7inches in bare feet. I got the size 8 merrel Tiaga boots a while ago and they fit perfectly. I read the reivews about the natalya boot and decided to go with the size 81/2.

They are narrower than the tiaga boots so Im glad I went up half a size for the natalya boots. You can adjust the laces to get a snug fit around the ankle for good ankle support. I have medium width calves, and can easliy tuck in skinny jeans becasue you can adjust the laces,

If you have very wide feet they may be a bit tight width wise. The boots traction is good, the soles are flexible. Im wearing them with wool socks, which are slightly bulkier than normal shoe socks.

I do have about a cm extra length than I need in front of my toes, though because they are a bit narrower a boot than the tiaga, IM glad I read reviews on other sites and got the half size up... they do not make my feet look too long or big.

I got these at another site before I realized amazon sold them, as I did initially want the lighter brown colour. just reviewing here as reading reviews on these helped me so much to get the right size.

I bought these for my daughter, and selected them because they had the look she wanted, plus enough padding on the inside that she could wear them comfortably all day. She is pleased with them and wears them all the time.

Only two minor issues. One, since they are not leather, they are not going to get that worn-in, sort of "floppy" look that you see in a lot of the fashion pages, where the models are wearing the boots half-laced and folded over to make cuffs. Two, the straps across the front need a few more holes put in them so you can tighten them properly.

i just wish i could fit them...they don't zip up all the way on me. i don't have wider than usual calves. i need about an extra inch or two. i have gained some weight and am in the process of losing it, so hopefully when that happens, i'll lose some off my calves and be able to give a better review.

the purple is really rich in color. the heel is nice. the shoe of the boot fits very well and comfortable. i should have no problem walking around in these when the time comes. can't wait b/c i have so many dresses to wear with this boot. might have to do a search for another purple boot until these can fit....

11/07/12- so i'm wearing them today. with a blue dress with multi-color floral pattern. the boots fit me pretty well now. they are pretty comfortable. only think i noticed is the footbed doesn't provide much cushioning at all and i feel like i can feel EVERYTHING i'm walking on! i have a enough room that i can probably put a thin cushion in there, maybe a ball-of-foot pad. otherwise, i am liking these alot. the heel is just right. the purple really pops. as the other review said, maybe the seude is a bit "cheap", but if you know how to fashion it up with the rest of your outfit, they look really nice and expensive. besides, i knew going into this that i can't expect $1000 quality in a $40 boot. i am so glad i got these. you can't tell me nothing today!
