I usually wear an 8.5 or 9 (regular, not wide). Did some research on these before ordering and bought a 9.5 wide instead and they fit perfect! These are not the sexiest ankle boots I own, but they're quite comfortable. The stretchy material is wonderful, but gives a impression of inexpensive like water/beach shoes. They should be easy to clean/maintain, though. The heel is just right, but a little noisy when I walk. Haven't worn them much yet but I can totally see myself sneaking these under pant suits.

I love these boots! I needed boots to replace my Ugg Belfair (Ugg duck collection) and these were even better! Getting them in dark brown now! I bought a size 10.5 because I'm always in between a 10 to an 11 but I think the 10 would've been fine because I think they run slightly larger then most Sorel boots. I have a larger calves but these zipped up over my jeans no problem! yay!

These boots delivered in every area. Other than being delivered a bit later than expected, they were in pristeen condition. Georgous straight from the box, even more stunning on. They do run a bit snug but as a little tip, stuff the shoes with lots of paper to slowly stretch without damaging the synthetic leather and you will have a perfect fit. If you can, buy one size larger, but the stretching tip works every time and allows you to get the harder to find colors.

These boots would be absolutely wonderful if the leather was durable. Great ground feel, comfortable design, but like most other barefoot creations they simply don't hold up.

I've tried and tried to find a flat shoe that will last more than 6 months of daily wear. I was hoping the Troop Leather would be able to withstand the strain of being worn everyday, but after 6 weeks the toe-box leather split on both boots.

Not to mention when I contacted OTZ via email, it took the guy over three weeks and two reminders to respond to my questions. His suggestion? Here it is cut and pasted from the email--"a toe guard may be the best call for that kind of use:)"

Inadequate material construction coupled with poor customer service. I wish it weren't so.

I bought these booties and rated them 5 stars right away, but after 3 days of wear I had to go back and edit my review. As I said in my previous review these were challenging to put one due to the sock like stretch leather pull on style. Well, my ankles are very thin and I guess the boots should accommodate thicker types as well so I know it's not my ankles, but after 3 day the soft leather started to tear with each pulling on. I couldn't believe it. I am so disappointed and I am only glad I didn't pay the original $299 for them. For this quality tearing should not be happening. Huge disappointment because I loved the way they look.

I bought the grey one; they just came in today. They were just as I expected with a few things I really didn't like.

For one: the fronts didn't match. I'm not sure if they are handmade but it looks like someone got lazy with the left shoe and didn't put enough effort into it to precisely match the design that shows in the picture. It's very noticeable when you stare at it for a few minutes.

Another thing was that the inside layer of the right shoe where your foot rests on was peeling and made it uncomfortable for my foot.

Don't get me wrong, the material is nice; the shoes just seem to be cheaply made. Made in China?

It's really not that bad to wear on occasion and I'll keep them since I really like the style. Similar looking boots are really expensive and shipping is too damn high. (Used Amazon Prime for free shipping on these boots) I have to make my moneys worth... I hope they don't break on me. If that happens though, I will definitely return them or maybe invest in a more well known expensive shoe brand.
