I love this boot! The leather is so rich in color and so soft! The cognac color is luscious. The buckle detail dresses the boot up so that you can wear this boot with jeans or with dresses. The heel height is just right. I wore these shoes all day and my feet felt fine, no aches, no pains. This boot would work for anyone with an average size calf, it would not however be a good choice for someone with a wide calf. I have an average size calf and was able to wear these with my skinny jeans and a thin pair of knit socks. The boot hits me at about and inch to an inch and a half below my knee (I'm 5' 4"), which is the perfect height for me. The first day I wore these I walked into a store and not 2 minutes later I was complemented on them. The rest of the day other women were complementing me on them and asking me about them. Yes they are a bit pricey for the average consumer but they are such high quality and so stunning you will not be disappointed with your purchase. You will be in love with their beauty and in love with how you look in them!
