These boots fit very very nicely -- over my 15" calf and 16.5 over the knee/thigh area -- so yay! Very cool zipper provides a streamlined look and the suede is high quality, stiff enough to stay in place, yet soft. very very comfortable foot -- I do not wear wides, but I would say I lean more towards that than normal width. studding is very subtle and adds a bit of dress to the boot. For the price -- its such a great deal. Very happy with the purchase. Rated 4 starts instead of five due to the color. I would say, that the color is not taupe -- it is more a beige -- almost natural. Would have liked the taupe better -- but as the boot is so cute and great fit, I'm keeping them.
