Nice styling, leather, quality, and comfort. Would have kept if it fit. I am a consistent 8.5 US and 39 European regardless of brand. The few reviews I could find said this shoe ran small so I ordered both the 39 and 40. With thin socks, the 40's were huge - too long, too wide, and too big around the collar. The 39's JUST fit with thin trouser socks, and not all that comfortably - a bit tight toward the toe. From what I can tell, the 39 is the equivalent of an 8 US and the 40 is a 9 US. My advice for those who wear half sizes is to size up and wear med-heavy socks to take up the slack. Unfortunately, I live in a warm weather state, so that's not practical for me.
