Well after years of searching for the perfect wide calf boot, I have found it! This year alone, I have purchased AND returned 5 pairs of "wide calf" boots, because they did not fit on my calf, despite supposed measurements and extra wide widths. This boot, while beautiful AND actually LEATHER, not a leather like material is true to it's measurements and finally fits my calf. The leather is soft and the boot is gorgeous in person. One thing to note is that it has little padding in the "shoe" part, but I think insoles will make it more comfortable, that said I am a die hard heel wearer and they are still comfortable for me. I LOVE this boot and believe that because it is actually LEATHER, it will last me longer than any of the other boot styles I fell in love with. For reference, I purchased the 8.5 W and they still have an 8.5 WW in case I had needed it. David Tate~ THANK YOU for finally making a true wide calf boot!!!
