I still think these are so cute. But they just murdered my feet...tortured them until my entire body was drooping and on the verge of crying. Oh, they were PLENTY WIDE -- that wasn't the problem. They have good arch support -- that wasn't the problem either. They have a bounciness to the walk, rather than a clomp, clomp, clomp. But the problem is the toe box is too shallow. You don't notice it until you've walked half the distance you need to go. Then your toes begin to scream in sychrony. All 10 toes yelling as loud as possible. People stare...you try walking differently, yet they belt out these horrible screams of agony. You try running to your house, but running makes it even worse. You consider taking them off and walking barefoot but are afraid your toes will have blood gushing out of them. You consider crawling....when you finally get inside and rip them off and throw them across the room you begin thinking how stupid you were to buy them...how they didn't hurt like that when you first put them on...about the wasted money. Then you consider giving them to a friend...or an enemy. But ultimately they end up in the trash or hide like two black demonds in the back of you closet -- tempting you with their good looks. But you will never put them on again, just thinking about it makes you break out in a cold sweat and scan the room for exit points. But, that is just my opinion, go ahead and buy them...it's just money and think of the horror story you'll have to tell to your friends and family.
