I love these boots! They are so cute on me. Usually, I have a problem with the top part of the boot being too big for my calves (there is usually too much space between the top of the boot and my calf); however, the top of this boot isn't too big for my calves (and I have really skinny calves....size 14.5" circumference in jeans (& the inside circumference of the boot is about 15"...I ordered size 9.5)). BUT, the big, HUGE problem that I have with these boots are that the back heel portion of the boot is made out of plastic, HARD plastic! The foot bed is padded, but there is no padding whatsoever at the heel. My heel rubs against the plastic, and it is SO uncomfortable. So, to fix the problem, I decided to buy some padded shoe inserts, place them against the heel portion of the boot, and hot glue them to the boot. It worked! Except for one little problem...now the boots are just slightly too small for my feet. Well, I bought two pairs of these (one in brown & one in black). I can't return the brown because I glued the padding to the back of the heel. But, I will be returning the black and ordering the next size up. I usually wear a size 9 or 9.5 in boots, but because of my homemade-fix, I'm going to have to reorder these in a size 10. So, if you decide to order these and you want to mod your boots like I did, I would suggest ordering at least 1 size bigger than what you normally wear.
