Awesome shoe. Fit great over the calf for me. True to size. I was looking for more of an over/above the knee boot; this boot covers exactly my knee cap. Not high enough. I am comfortably an 8 1/2, but I buy size 8 shoes and they are fine, but this 8 is too short. An 8 1/2 would have been perfect in size. Because of the quality of the shoe, the foot area is very firm. I suspect it will keep it's shape for a long time. However, I could not make use of them, so back they went. But, overall, a great shoe.
