You won't know you're in a heel, these are so cushy. You'll need a suede brush and definately remember to spray them before you weather them to keep them a nice (I got the black, so dark) color. The size is right on. 7.5 with a nice winter wool sock for my sevens in sandals tootsies. The sole is grippy safe *and* sexy. I didn't think the high ankle would be so flattering but this boot really lengthens the legs nicely over leggings and looks great with long skirts and jeans. The buckle is more subtle in person and can be snugged up for comfort or just to accent a nice ankle. I cannot wait to see what La Canadienne does next year.
