I ordered these boots because I needed something warm to wear around the holidays but still not have too much of the clunky "snow boot" look. I found three different items with almost the same name and picture, all different prices and sizes. I normally wear an 8 but wanted to get a 9 so I can wear thick socks and tuck in my skinny jeans. The size 9 of the sole fits good, true to size and is quite comfortable. The problem is I cannot zip them up my calf! I couldn't believe it, I have NEVER had this problem before. Most boots have a good bit of room around the calf. My legs aren't fat or overly muscular. They are completely normal. If they were real leather I wouldn't be too concerned since they can stretch, I sure hope these will stretch. I plan to wear them for days around the house in hopes they will loosen up a bit. Last thing I want is for the zipper to break. My other complaint is the smell of faux leather is STRONG. It burns my nose while wearing them in the house but, it's not like they were made to be worn in the house and I am sure it'll fade over time. I am not sure how they will hold up outside, but I will be protecting them with a faux-leather spray guard regularly anyways.

Summary: The size is true and look is cute, but they can't zip up a normal sized calf and for that, I would not recommend them to anyone with muscle of fat on their legs! If I saw them in store I would not have bough them, but returning is too much of a hassle.
