I originally purchased these boots to go with a Pirate Halloween Costume. I wore them for the first time at a costume dance without problem...they fit well and did not need to be broken in which was a relief after dancing the night away. The lining is sturdy but comfortable and they are very well constructed. I wear a 7 and these boots are very true to size and will accomodate up to 15 1/2 inch calf. The leather exterior has a very attractive finish. The foot bed is comfortable and you can wear these boots for many hours without issue. In addition they are warm and look great if you are going casual or dressing for a special occasion. Wish they came in more colors. The price was also very reasonable for the quality of this boot. Another family member has purchased Sofft shoes and has had the same positive experiences as I had with the boots.
