These boots are comfortable and look super cute! They could be warmer though. I live in the mountains and the temperature can get into the negatives on a daily basis and I cannot wear these boots on those days. My Merrell's are much much warmer (but then again you get what you pay for right?) Definitely recommended as a cute winter boot not as a snow boot to spend hours outside in.

If you want a proper fit you would need to go down a half size. I bought a size 7 but should have gotten a size 6 1/2. Other than that, it is worth the money I received a lot of compliments when I wore them. I would recommend these booties.

To be able to get a $300 retail Joan & David bootie for $68 is phenomenal! I knew I need not have any concerns about quality since I was familiar with the brand and I was not disappointed. I normally wear a size 7 shoe, which the vendor did not have in stock, so I felt comfortable ordering a size 6.5 because of the boot's open design...no problems there. They are a great transitional boot. The opening is wide enough to slip on and off easily but not too wide when wearing leggings and skinny jeans. It is a skinny heel yet it feels sturdy and comfortable, but then I am used to wearing this height heel and higher. I would highly recommend!
