I bought this boot and was very excited. When it arrived, I couldn't even get my leg in the boot. I have thin legs but you need twig legs to get them in the boot. The description states the leg opening is 13 3/4 inches and I couldn't get it over my calf. However, I have two pairs of boots with 13 1/2-inch openings. Also, I ordered a 9 1/2 and the foot bed ran small as well. I was really bummed -- it was a great deal and they are gorgeous boots.

21392 Designer Fashion Genuine Patent Leather Pointy Toe Dress Boots 6.5 Review

The Los Altos Lizard High-heeled Western Boots are high-quality leather; they are elegant and soft. I purchased them in white and hot pink; both colors are beautiful. Some "white" boots are dingy looking; however, these are a nice snow white, which is what I wanted. I am a serious pinkaholic, and the pink ones are such a lovely hue that they made me weepy. Unfortunately, the pink one arrived damaged so I had to return them. I do plan to reorder them.

My main complaint is that the soles of the boots and heel-taps are extremely slippery. To combat this problem, I attached clear traction pads to them to eliminate slipping. I chose clear because the soles are actually nice looking, and I wanted to keep them visible. The non-slip additions worked wonderfully well. I used two per boot because the feet are extra-long, due to the excessive "pointiness" of this style.

The boots reach to my calves, and fit well. My calves are about 14.75 in circumference. If yours are smaller, they will probably fit loosely, unless you tuck jeans into them (which I do not do). I wear a size 6M; however, I purchase my boots in 6.5M in order to wear thick socks with them during cold weather. The 6.5M was much too big; the 6M fit comfortably with athletic ankle socks of standard thickness. Consequently, I would not recommend sizing up.

As the previously mentioned and the name states, these boots have "pointy" toes (very pointy toes-which I love), but my toes are completely undisturbed by the pointy parts. The length of the boots do not include the pointy parts in the sizing. As a rule, I up-size on pointy footwear so that my toes do not get squashed; there is no danger of that in these boots.

The boots were comfortable for all-day wearing; however, I did add inner padding, which I usually do because I work on non-carpeted floors. I am a native Texan, and we wear boots year round here. These seem light-weight enough to be comfortable in our notorious Texas heat (compared to traditional cowgirl boots). Of course, these are dress boots, not roping and riding; boots. I love the colors; I have purchased them in pink (a lovely bright pink) and white (true white vs. off-white, ivory, bone, or some other dingy-looking excuse for white when "white" is what you actually want). I would be more pleased if they were knee-high (which is very uncommon for cowgirl boots).

Extra Note: This style of boot comes in various other leathers (e.g., python, ostrich, crocodile,eel, and ant eater, etc.), and as far as I can discern their only differences are color and leather choices. The alternative style is an ankle boot.

These cobalt satin boots are the bomb. They are extremely well made and the color is gorgeous. The fit was fantastic, very comfortable, great heel heighth. I doubt if there are any left to buy, but maybe something else in this brand would also be a great buy. I have also bought a pair of Old Gringo women's boots ON A GREAT SALE from Amazon and have been very pleased with these.

Back to the blue boots. Even my niece who is l4 and extremely fashion conscious, said "Dude, those are awesome" (she calls everyone Dude)

I really like the look of these boots. Have them in black and they look very polished with slacks or jeans. I own a number of Naots and love the heel, which is just the right height if you are on your feet all day long. I do have a slight issue with the seam on top of the boot pressing into my left arch, which I hope to resolve with stretching - my left foot is slightly bigger. However, if you have wide feet, this may be a problem for you. While this Naot boot is wider than most of Naot boots recently, it is not suitable for wide feet. However, I am quite happy with the purchase and will keep these as I know the seam issue will resolve once I wear the boots for a few days.
