I bought the go-go boots in silver and I was a little nervous at first. I usually have a really difficult time with tall boots, because I can never get them to zip over my calves. These boots were described as stretch and they did just that! They are still tight, so even if you have smaller calves you shouldn't have a problem. They are comfortable to wear, but I haven't worn them enough yet to know how they hold up to wear and tear.

I love this boot. This is my first pair of FRYE boots. I'd been told a hundred time, "If you love boots, you must buy a pair of FRYE boots." I just didn't want to put the money down. Money is tight! But I did and oh my goodness. I do hate I waited so long. I am a true size 11. I have a long slim foot. Not AA or anything but somewhere between an A and a B. These are perfect. They are comfortable. They are stylish. They are so well made. I took a magnifying glass and looked at the stitches. I'm so tired of buying expensive shoes that don't last. These look like they will walk
me around for the next 20 years. I love the canvas uppers. They look great with slacks, jeans, and skirts. The compliments poured in. One week after I bought them I made some extra money on a project and bought a second pair of FRYE boots; the 15L Engineer style. I'm done buying boots for the season. I hope. Any product that has been marching around since the Civil War has got to be a great product. Great boots!

I was so hopeful when I opened up the box and saw my new boots. I tried on the first one and it fit perfectly on my left foot. Yea! I happily pulled out the other boot and went to put it on. It was then that I discovered that I'd been sent two left boots. I wish I knew who had gotten two right boots, size 8WW, so then we could swap. But that is impossible, so back they go.

As for the boots themselves, they are really cute and look good, if you don't look too closely. They are definitely not leather and you can tell if you look closely - and anyone who owns them will. But people who are not down at foot level won't know the difference. Had I received a real pair they would have been wonderful for the (sale) price.
